Insurance
According to the Kaiser Family Foundation’s 2020 Employer Health Benefits Survey, the average family cost for employer provided health insurance has reached $21,342 with families having to cover $5588 and the employer covering the remainder. At our clinic we understand how difficult it is to be told that you cannot use your health insurance to offset the cost of mental health treatment while you are already paying significant costs to maintain your health insurance. Accordingly, we are an in network provider with the following health insurance plans and can accept your insurance and file claims for you with these providers:
- United Healthcare / United Behavioral Health
- BlueCross and BlueShield (preferred provider status)
- TriCare West
Deductibles and copays may apply as determined by your insurance company. If you are insured by another insurance company, we will not be able to file claims for services but will gladly provide you with detailed documentation which you can use to submit to your insurer. If we are not in network with your insurer, we cannot guarantee any reimbursement from them.
Fees
All services are provided by clinically licensed therapists who have completed specialized training in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). Sessions are 55 minutes in length and you will NOT be charged extra if your session needs to continue to 60 minutes to allow time to reach a therapeutically sound stopping point.
55 min session fee is $120
If you are insured by United Healthcare / United Behavioral Health, BlueCross BlueShield or TriCare West your session fee will be determined by your insurance company not the above stated rate.
Cancellation
Life happens and sometimes it is simply impossible to keep a scheduled appointment. In this case we ask that you provide 24 hours advance notice to cancel / reschedule or we reserve the right to charge you for the missed session. Missed sessions are not billable to your insurance company.
Payments
We can be reimbursed directly from your insurance company if you are covered by United Healthcare / United Behavioral Health, BlueCross BlueShield or TriCare West. If not, we accept HSA (Health Savings Account), FSA (Flexible Spending Account), Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, checks.
